However, there is no research on the state of the art on Israel studies in the country. This article seeks to shed light on the state of the art on Israel studies in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Accordingly, the main question here would be “what is the status of Israel studies in Iran?” To answer the question, this article will survey the available literature on Israel in the country, so to provide a rather complete map on the status of these studies and highlight the research gaps in this area of knowledge which has to be considered by researchers while revealing weaknesses and strengths of such studies. Accordingly, this article has nothing to do with the content and data existing in this literature (including descriptions, explanations and prescriptions). To study and analyze critically the content of research done regarding Israel in Iran, there would be a need for further research. تاکنون پژوهش‌های متعددی در باب اسرائیل شناسی در ایران صورت گرفته و محققان مختلف تلاش کرده اند دشمن صهیونیستی را از زوایای گوناگون مورد مطالعه و شناخت قرار دهند. با این حال هیچ تحقیقی در باره وضعیت این پژوهش ها وجود ندارد. این مقاله سعی دارد تا با یک ابتکار، به بررسی پژوهش های نگارش شده و قابل دسترسی در باره اسرائیل در ایران بپردازد. بر این اساس، سؤال اصلی این مقاله عبارت است از این که پژوهش های اسرائیل شناسی در ایران چه وضعیتی دارد؟ برای پاسخ به این سوال به بررسی ادبیات موجود در باره اسرائیل شناسی در جمهوری اسلامی ایران می پردازیم تا از این طریق نقشه ای نسبتا کامل از وضعیت مطالعات اسرائیل شناسی در ایران ارایه دهیم و ضمن نشان دادن نقاظ قوت و ضعف این مطالعات خلاهای پژوهشی را که نیاز است توسط پژوهشگران مورد توجه قرار گیرد، برجسته نماییم. بر این اساس در این مقاله به محتوا و داده های موجود در این ادبیات (اعم از توصیف ها و تبیین ها و توصیه ها) کاری نداریم. بررسی و تحلیل و نقد این داده ها خود به مقاله ای دیگر نیاز دارد. http://www.ipsajournal.ir/article_145_2b24d495052a8ce66358eb576b8912c8.pdf
