This lack of consensus has caused the formation of a spectrum of definitions within the framework of different schools and discourses. In order to exit from this conceptual ambiguity and word conflict in scientific researches, different methods have been used such as school typology (structuralism, constructivism, realism, idealism and so on), comparative method and so on. This research seeks to analyze the conceptual trajectory of power in general in materialist and non-materialist schools. Then it examines the viewpoints of Imam Khomeini and the Supreme Leader and their distinction with other perspectives. The Islamic Revolution of Iran led by Imam Khomeini and after him, the Supreme leader has a emancipative approach that caused their distance from other schools and redefined the concept of power and its applications. This article deals with prominent aspects in the definition of power from the leaders of the Islamic Revolution such as teleology, duty-oriented, anti-injustice approach, just order and so on. Then it expresses their difference with the western approaches. قدرت به مثابه کانونی ترین مفهوم علم سیاست،موضوعی است که کمتر در خصوص تعاریف آن میان صاحبنظران و نویسندگان اتفاق نظر وجود ندارد.این عدم اجماع سبب گردیده تا دامنه گسترده ای از تعاریف در قالب مکاتب و گفتمانهای مختلف شکل گیرد.در پژوهشهای علمی برای خروج از این توسّع مفهومی و چالش واژگانی،شیوه های متفاوتی همچون سنخ شناسی مکتبی(ساخت گرائی،تکوین گرائی،واقع گرائی،آرمانگرائی و...)، تطور زمانی،بررسی تطبیقی و شیو های انطباقی به کار رفته است. این پژوهش در نظر دارد تا ضمن تحلیل توصیفی منحنی تحول واژگانی قدرت بطور عام در مکاتب مادی و غیر مادی،نظرات و دیدگاه های حضرت امام خمینی(ره) و مقام معظم رهبری و وجه تمایز آن با سایر دیدگاه ها را مورد واکاوی قرار دهد. رویکرد رهائی بخش انقلاب اسلامی ایران به رهبری امام خمینی و پس از ایشان،حضرت آیت الله خامنه ای سبب فاصله گیری و سویه سازی مفهوم قدرت و کاربرد آن شده است و این مقاله بر جنبه های بارزی همچون غایت گرائی، تکلیف محوری،ظلم ستیزی،نظم عادلانه و ... در تعریف قدرت از نظر رهبران انقلاب اسلامی و تفاوت ماهوی ان با دیدگاه های غربی اهتمام دارد.
