The methodology explains formation, rationality and crisis in intellectual traditions by specific criteria different from positivist methodologies and discourse analysis. It seems that through applying this methodology in Iran we can use native criteria in shaping intellectual-political currents in a better way. Therefore the main presumption of this article in responding the question of intellectual origins and roots of Islamic Republic Party is that it roots in the conflicts of constitutionalism, particularly sharia-based constitutionalism and radical Islamism of 1940s (Fadayian Islam). The results show that the Islamic Republic Party adopted its doctrines from these intellectual traditions, and through dialectical dialogue with some other intellectual traditions like Shiite constitutionalism, Islamic union and left Islamism entered some new doctrines but maintained its own main doctrines. This study has tried to use documentary sources and oral history for examining the above hypothesis in order to present a new narrative. این بررسی بر آنست تا تبارهای فکری حزب جمهوری اسلامی؛ مهمترین اجتماع اسلام انقلابی را در فضای جغرافیایی ایران با استفاده از روش شناسی اجتماع گرایی بررسی کند. این روش شناسی شکل گیری، عقلانیت و بحران در سنت های فکری را با معیارهای خاصی توضیح می دهد که متفاوت از روش شناسی های پوزیتویستی و تحلیل گفتمانی است. بنظر می رسد با کاربست آن در ایران بهتر بتوان از معیارهای بومی در شکل گیری جریانات فکری- سیاسی کمک گرفت. بنابراین در پاسخ به سوال تبارها و ریشه‌های فکری حزب جمهوری اسلامی بعنوان مهمترین اجتماع سیاسی اسلام انقلابی، فرض مهم این نوشتار آنست که تبارهای آن، ریشه در منازعات مشروطه بویژه مشروطه مشروعه و رادیکالیسم اسلامی دهه 1320(فدائیان اسلام) دارد. یافته های تحقیق نشان می دهد که حزب جمهوری اسلامی، آموزه های خود را از این سنت‌های فکری اتحاذ کرد و از طریق گفتگوی دیالکتیکی با برخی از سنت های فکری نظیر مشروطه شیعی، اتحاد اسلامی و اسلام گرایی چپ با حفظ آموزه های اصلی، یه ورود برخی آموزه های جدید و مفصل بندی خود کمک فراوان نمود. این پژوهش سعی نموده از منابع اسنادی و تاریخ شفاهی در بررسی فرض فوق بهره ببرد تا روایت جدیدی عرضه دارد.
