The main questions of the present study are: "What were the characteristics of Iranian media diplomacy during the epidemic of coronavirus and how did media diplomacy help health diplomacy? The main hypothesis of the research deals with both positive and negative aspects of Iranian media diplomacy and considers it as the context for health diplomacy. We used Itan Gilboa's theory of media diplomacy to explain this relationship. The research findings that are based on descriptive-analytical method show that from the negative aspect, Iran has used media tactics such as highlighting, positive imaging and demonization and on the positive dimension, it has used two tactics:1- emphasizing on international solidarity and 2- emphasizing Détente. Helping Iranian citizens in other countries, facilitating access to medical equipment, trying to lift sanctions, strengthening cooperation with the World Health Organization and paving the way for scientific cooperation with other countries in the field of corona vaccine production are the most important measures of the Iranian in health diplomacy. شیوع ویروس کرونا در جهان، عصر تازه‌ای را در سیاست خارجی دولت‌ها رقم زد و اهمیت «دیپلماسی رسانه‌ای» و «دیپلماسی سلامت» را برجسته ساخت. سوال اصلی که پژوهش حاضر به آن می‌پردازد این است که «دیپلماسی رسانه‌ای ایران در ماههای شیوع بیماری کرونا چه ویژگی‌هایی داشت و چگونه در خدمت دیپلماسی سلامت قرار گرفت؟» فرضیه اصلی پژوهش به دو وجه ایجابی و سلبی دیپلماسی رسانه‌ای ایران پرداخته و آن را بسترساز دیپلماسی سلامت دانسته است. برای توضیح چگونگی این ارتباط از نظریه دیپلماسی رسانه‌ای ایتان گیلبوآ استفاده شده است. یافته‌های پژوهش که بر اساس روش توصیفی-تحلیلی به دست آمده است نشان می‌دهد ایران در بعد سلبی از تاکتیک‌های رسانه‌ای همچون برجسته‌سازی، تصویرسازی مثبت و اهریمن‌سازی و در بعد ایجابی از دو تاکتیک تاکید بر همبستگی بین‌المللی و تاکید بر تنش‌زدایی بهره گرفته است. کمک به اتباع ایرانی در سایر کشورها، تسهیل دست‌یابی به تجهیزات پزشکی، تلاش برای تضعیف کردن تحریم‌ها، تقویت همکاری با سازمان بهداشت جهانی و بستر‌سازی برای همکاری های علمی با سایر کشورها در زمینه تولید واکسن کرونا از مهمترین اقدامات دستگاه دیپلماسی سلامت ایران بوده است. http://www.ipsajournal.ir/article_399_352fe25daf686bdb4edca223c921acea.pdf
