Abstract

The theoretical conflict between various political and social forces in order to build a political structure appropriate to the social context in Iran, and its symmetry with the disorder in various areas of the social system, has continued since the coup against the Constitutional Movement (1299AH) until now. In the period after the victory of the Islamic Revolution (1357AH), the political forces dominating the state institution have failed to optimally realize the country's major policy-making programs and goals regarding the establishment of social justice and sustainable development. This situation has faced social solidarity in the Iranian political society with a serious challenge.This article has put forward the hypothesis that: theoretical confusion can be an influential factor in the continuation of political anomie in the relations between the state and society in Iran, after the victory of the Islamic Revolution. To explain the hypothesis, the answer to the question of how theoretical confusion affects the continuation of political anomie during the Islamic Revolution has been studied. Based on the findings, in a state of theoretical confusion, various political currents, by opposing each other in ideals and emphasizing the refusal to differentiate, have removed the institution of the state from the function of regulation in the overall social system, and as a result of this situation, political anomie in the relations between the state and society has continued.The present article, using the theoretical foundations of Emile Durkheim and employing the descriptive-institutional method, has examined and analyzed the data collected from library sources.
